Respond to the topic assigned in the individual paper targeting
an exploration of literature in psychology on the topic and an application of
the principles learned.
All papers will follow American Psychological Association (APA)
6th edition guidelines and will include APA Style formatting.
These include:
1. Double Spaced Type
2. New Times Roman 12 pt font
3. “1” inch margins all around
4. An APA Style 6th edition Cover Page
5. Introduction at the beginning of the paper (this is a part of
the body of the paper) consisting of background information on the topic:
generally a paragraph.
6. Body of the paper (this is the research on the topic of the
paper 1500 words including the introduction and conclusion).
7. Conclusion (this is the part of the body of the paper
consisting of the application of the information learned: generally three
paragraphs). Please do not summarize the material in your paper. Discuss how
you will apply the information learned about the topic in real world settings.
This should demonstrate what you have learned and how to apply that information
in unique situations. Examples may include applications to your personal, professional,
social, or community lives.
8. In-Text citation of sources. Each of the required five [5]
sources must be used and referenced at least once in
the body of the paper or they cannot be included in the references.
9. Reference page of sources cited in APA
style. You
must have at least 5 credible sources. Please do not use
internet sources that are not based on scholarly work. PLEASE USE THE EFSC
LIBRARY DATABASES FOR ACADEMICALLY ACCEPTED PSYCHOLOGY JOURNALS ONLY!!!! THIS
