Your last assignment for this class will be an essay, due by noon on July 19. Your essay should be at least 3 pages in length, well organized (with a clear thesis statement that addresses the prompt), and grammatically correct.
I would like you to discuss what your big take-away has been from the readings we’ve covered in the course. For example, some things we have seen covered in American writing are religion, nature, individuality, community, equality, the experience of women, the experience of Native Americans, and the experience of African Americans, just to name a very few.
Identify what you think is the one overarching theme you’ll take away from those readings and reference at least three works we have covered in your discussion.
