You can also conduct further research if you are interested, but it is not required. It will be helpful to go back and review the PowerPoint slides from our Zoom session.
On the video, focus on the legislation discussion regarding infrastructure (roads, bridges, airports, etc). Is the bipartisan infrastructure deal already in danger of falling apart? If so, explain why. Based on what you have learned about negotiation so far, please answer the following questions.
1) Did the two parties come to an agreement? If so, please give a brief explanation.
2) Did the White House intervene here? Was this effective or did it confuse the situation? Explain your reasoning.
3) If you were the lead negotiator of the GOP (therefore the minority party), what type of negotiation strategies would you utilize here? If you were leader of the Democratic party, what strategies would you utilize?
Your analysis should be at least 500 words (approximately one page, MLA format). Remember to comment on a least two of your fellow students analysis.
