This assignment is based on IT Networking Principles. Please ensure you have read the instructions and are well proficient on what is being asked before submitting your bid.
Please see the attachment for the instructions and what is being asked of this assignment.
Objective: The
objective of this lab in for the student to demonstrate that they can configure
both static and RIP routes.
Required:
Static Routes – In this lab you will know how to configure a
static route and then a RIP route to the adjacent LAN. Use the IP addresses provided to you. (It is
a best practice to use the reload command to clear the settings on the router
before configuring static and RIP routing). In the network topology for this
lab, a V.35 serial interface cable is connected from your LAN to the adjacent
LAN. Serial interfaces are used when interconnecting the LANs. Use 56000 for
the clock rate on the serial link (DCE interface).

1. Enter
the configured IP addresses, subnet mask, and default gateway for all the
computers in the LANs (Router A is connected to LAN A, and Router B is
connected to LAN B)

(LAN ___) _____________________ _______________________ _____________________
(It
is always good to have sufficient information to show that the router
interfaces are properly configured, a routing protocol has been configured for
routing data packets to the adjacent network, network connectivity has been
established with the adjacent LAN).
List
the configured gateway addresses and subnet masks for your LAN
routers.

List
the commands used to configure the hostname for your routers to (LAN-A,
LAN-B)
List
the commands used to configure the router interface’s IP addresses and
subnet masks. List the proper
command to verify that the interfaces are properly configured.
List
the commands used to configure a static route from your LAN router to the
adjacent LAN router. Use two
commands to verify that the routes are configured.
List
the proper command to trace the route from a PC in your LAN to a host in
the adjacent LAN. (The trace will
pass through two routers). List the
command used and record the trace information.
List
the commands used to configure a RIP route from your LAN router to the
adjacent LAN router. Use two
commands to verify that the routes are configured.
List
the router command that lists the network routes stored in your router’s
routing table.
List
the command to save your router configuration to NVRAM. List the proper command to verify the
configuration has been saved to NVRAM.
What
command is used to verify the routing protocol being used?
