Analyze the way that authors use narration to affect how culture is depicted and understood in their works. Specifically, I want you to think about how point of view affects your understanding of cultural insiders, outsiders, and the boundaries between categories. How does who is telling the story and how the story being told( first person, second person, third person) affect how we understand what happens, the themes, or the point of the writing? How does storytelling affect the readers understanding of a story? Dont write the story in first person. Every paragraph(except the into and conclusion will have a topic sentence. This is followed by your explanation of why that quote supports your point. Followed by a sentence that helps set up where you are going next.
