Psychological disorders are diagnosed by identifying behaviors that are abnormal and impede individuals’ ability to succeed within their environment. In this essay, explain how these psychological disorders are the result of inefficiencies of the nervous system in interpreting and processing information from the environment. Don’t give me a laundry list of inefficiencies associated with the many disorders covered in these two chapters but 3-4 common inefficiencies that are shared among the disorders. Make sure to explain these inefficiencies and how they lead to less than optimal behavior.
