Writing Assignment
Each student is to prepare a synopsis of one article dealing with any area of management. The article is to be taken from a current
periodical, which could include the Wall Street Journal or Business
Week. You will:
a. briefly summarize the article, in one page. This part of the assignment will be worth 22 points.
b. On the second page discuss the management terms and theory that apply to the subject of the article. Please use your textbook as a
reference. This part of the assignment will be worth 30 points.
The total value of this writing assignment is = 52 points.
The paper will be approximately 2 pages in length, double spaced, and must be done in Microsoft Word, as this is the only way it will be able to be submitted in the assignment dropbox for the course.
