You have already written your argument, so you are basically adding a secondary source to each body paragraph. This quotation or paraphrase from a secondary source must come after you analyze the quotation from the literary work. After you provide the quotation/citation from the secondary source, you must analyze that quotation and its significance. You may have to rewrite and rework some of your argument. Each body paragraph must contain a quotation from the text, which you should already have. You will analyze that quotation (should already be done). Then, in you will add your quotation from your secondary source and cite it. After you insert the quotation from your secondary source, you will analyze that quotation. That’ s it!!!! For the most part, you have a large portion of the research paper done. Don’t forget you must include your works cited page as the last page of your research paper, and it must be formatted according to MLA.
