For this final essay I want you to take a look at the arguments you have made in essays one and two about the reason why we eat the way we do and the effects it has had on us, and try to formulate a solution to the problem we are facing. You want to look at why we eat the way we do and try to find a way to change the process we use in the cycle of buying, preparing and consuming food. Is it the lack of cooking skills that need to change? Is it the food we are being sold in stores and fast food restaurants that need to change? Do advertisers that carry ads for this food bear any responsibility? What about schools?
What needs to happen in order to change the food cycle we find ourselves in?
There are many different directions you can go. You will want to make sure to stay focused on one main point. I have included these questions as a way of helping you brainstorm; I do not expect you to go through and answer each one.
