Consider the demographics of the community you live in and how you would relay an emergency message to them about a hazardous chemical spill and that they need to stay indoors. Do some research to find one more technology that is available and appropriate to your community.
** FEMA Lesson 3 of “IS-242.B Effective Communication” talks about how to use technology to effectively communicate. As you review the unit, you’ll notice it explores different types of technology, how they are used, characteristics of the audiences who use that technology, some tips to use them well, and cautions about using them.
