The student will be responsible for submitting a project on their chosen constitutional right (see list below). This assignment will examine your constitutional rights through the exploration of the rights and responsibilities of citizens, and the ability to analyze issues and policies in American politics. The assignment must be properly cited using APA format- Citations do not count towards word counts. The student must address the following questions:

1) Choose and explain a constitutional right from the U.S. Constitution- be sure to explain why it is a civil liberty or civil right (At least 150 words, 25%).
2) Choose and discuss a U.S. Supreme Court case that relates to your chosen constitutional right- be sure to explain how/why it is relevant (At least 250 words, 35%).
3) Discuss a current policy or issue impacted by your chosen constitutional right (At least 300 words, 40%).
