CRITIQUE
OTHER SCHOOL CURRICULUM
You have experienced and written about the
KSU / CIS curriculum. Now examine the Information Systems curriculum at another
college or university. Since you have not been a student at that other school
you cannot discuss personal experiences there but you can evaluate the
curriculum with regard to what it covers, what is missing, how it claims to
prepare and develop students, external programs like internships or co-ops are
also of interest.
What
to write about:
For the program you critique write about
the courses. Be specific – discuss specific courses. Discuss the course
sequence. Consider the appropriateness of required courses and the selection of
electives. Does the program have multiple tracks for students? If so what are
they and do they make sense? How does
the program compare to KSU /CIS? Why? Are there external programs like
internships or co-ops? How do they operate?

website page that describes the curriculum you are evaluating.

Recommendation:
This is a two page document with
substantial content. This means you must write clearly and succinctly. As you
review your work remove all unneeded words, phrases and sentences because you
need to use the permitted space effectively.
