Summary: WEEKLY
HOMEWORK/CASE STUDY (20% of final grade; 2.5 pts each week). The main concepts of the assigned
chapters will be emphasized, and reinforced, with weekly homework. Case studies
will relate to the covered weekly topics, and may be derived from the course
textbook, or other sources as determined by the Instructor. All assignments
must be uploaded to Moodle on (or before) their due dates. Unless otherwise
noted, all assignments should be completed in Microsoft Word. Each week I will
post assignments for your review NLT Fri the week prior.

Following
the assignments are some simple “course rules” to help formulate and
prepare your response:

WEEK ONE HOMEWORK/CASE STUDY

EXPERENTIAL EXERCISE 2.2 Corporate
Culture Preference Scale (p. 70 – 71)

At the
end of each chapter of the text, an Experiential Exercise and/or Concluding
Case and/or other opportunity for work as homework.  Each week, you will be assigned one, some or
both as Homework for that week and you will submit a written analysis of the
assignment via Moodle.  By analysis I mean for you to provide your
results, insights as well as answer the “So what?” – in other words, what the
result means to you and your future. Your response should be in WORD format,
the paper should be 500 to 750 words in length with 1-inch margins and follow
APA formatting, which includes double spacing, one-inch margins, and 12 point
font. As a general guide, this notice is about 890 words.  Upload your
analysis to Moodle NLT 2359 (11:59 p.m.)
Saturday 28 Aug 2021.

EXPERENTIAL
EXERCISE

The
analysis should contain the following:

·
Brief
description of the scenario and the results; no need to go into major detail as
I know what the exercise contains.  No
need to show the work in other words.

·
Discussion
of the main points that are specific to the concepts studied in the chapter
(and other Management concepts, as applicable);

·
How
the material is applicable to the student’s career (or future career
objectives);

·
Answer
all the questions that are presented in the scenario/case study.

You
are expected to reflect on how the lesson materials square with your own
experiences or viewpoints to provide a coherent, reflective answer. Your
comments should be your work and not just regurgitation from the text. Try to
state your position with brevity, provide simple justification for that
position, and conclude your response in a logical and organized manner.

CONCLUDING
CASE

Read
the case and provide your answers for the discussion questions. You are expected to reflect on how the
lesson materials square with your own experiences or viewpoints to provide a
coherent, reflective answer. Your comments should be your work and not just
regurgitation from the text. Try to state your position with brevity, provide
simple justification for that position, and conclude your response in a logical
and organized manner.
