For this assignment, you will create a 3-minute presentation taking a walk down memory lane sharing what you remember about learning to read and write. This should include the good the bad and the ugly. You will think about certainly people, experiences, characters, media (TV, videos, books) that all had an impact on you as a literacy learner. Maybe you love to read and write because there were people or events that inspired this in you throughout your academic career. Maybe you don’t like to read or write, why is this? Was there someone or something that happened that convinced you that you weren’t very good or took the pleasure out of reading or writing. You will present this to the class using images, music, titles, etc. to help us get a good understanding of your literacy history. You only have 3 minutes so you won’t be able to tell us everything, but stick to the most pivotal moments.
