This assignment provides you the opportunity to reflect on your reasons for being in college. Students who are connected to their “why” are able to stay motivated. Please reflect on the questions listed below in a well written 1-2 page essay. Please include:
Header for you paper that includes your name, the course and date
A title to your paper.
Double space your paper and use proper grammar, punctuation and spelling.
Submit your essay as a Word document or a PDF file.
A rubric is provided so you can see how you will be graded on the assignment.
When writing your essay, please address the following questions:
Introduce yourself.
What is your why? Explain clearly why you are in college and what is keeping you motivated? Basically tell me a little bit about what is driving you.
Who is motivating you to be in college? Tell me about your support system.
You watched the video on having a Growth Mindset. Where is your Mindset now as you are starting the semester?
We all lose our motivation from time to time, what strategies are you going to employ to keep the fire going?
