Discuss your current supervision experiences in the field, being sure to maintain professionalism and confidentiality with regard to people and locations. After reviewing the readings for this week, evaluate your current supervisory experience by outlining how each of the practice guidelines presented by Sellers, Valentino, and LeBlanc (2016) in “Recommended Practices for Individual Supervision of Aspiring Behavior Analysts” is evident in your supervision. Based on your evaluation, determine which elements of your supervision experience might be made more effective towards building your skills as a BCBA, and discuss some ideas for implementing strategies towards meeting that goal from both a trainee and a supervisor perspective.
