Select a lesson that matches your discipline, grade level, or area of interest.
Thoroughly explore the lesson plan and all of its related materials.
Develop your written response and your Loom video.
In your written journal response:
Provide the lesson URL and audience (grade level, subject, etc.)
Give a brief (1-2 sentence) overview of what the lesson is about.
Also address the following:
* To what extent does this lesson plan cover “the basics” – i.e., critical components for an effective lesson plan?
* In what ways is it evident that the lesson’s author demonstrates principles of effective teaching?
* How does the lesson’s author provide for differentiation? If differentiation is not present, provide 2 or more examples of possible strategies that could be applied to this lesson.
* How does the lesson incorporate technology or other 21st Century skills (creativity, collaboration, communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, etc.)? If these skills are not present, provide 2 or more examples of possible strategies that could be applied to this lesson.
* How does the lesson’s author address assessment, either before, during, or after the lesson?
Add a list of APA Style references from this course which you used to develop your response.
