Examples of areas to consider include:
Requirements dealing with the meal (recipes, etc.) that include a variety of appetizers, 3 meats, 4 vegetables, 2 deserts, condiments, and a variety of drink choices.
Requirements dealing with accommodations (building/space/hotel rooms),
Requirements dealing with equipment/resources (tables, chairs, plates, cups, glasses, utensils, napkins, etc.)
and other considerations, identified through your research.
There must be at least 30 requirements, broken down by category (meals, accommodations, resources, etc.). A Requirement is a short, focused, statement that would start with action words like “must do”, “will do” or “should do”. See examples at bottom. The Requirement cannot be just a few words; it needs to specifically address what is required.
The introduction paragraph with at least 400 words details on the project and summarize your research. Provide the conclusion paragraph to summarizes the important points of the project. The paper must be at least 5-pages and include at least 2 references.
Example of Requirements (this example is for Smart Thermostats) For this example, “must” implies highest priority; “will” implies medium priority; and “should” implies lowest priority. Smart thermostats will learn clients’ temperature preferences and establish a schedule that automatically adjusts temperatures when clients are asleep or away.
Smart thermostat should know when clients are returning home and automatically adjust clients home temperature to preferences.
Smart thermostats must allow clients to control home’s heating and cooling remotely through mobile devices.
Smart thermostats must quickly enter a low-power standby mode when inactive.
Smart thermostats must provide equipment use and temperature data clients can track and manage.
Smart thermostats must provide periodic software updates to use the latest algorithms and energy-saving features available
