Look into the author’s credibility using the guidelines set forth in this Activity. Can you think of other ways to measure an author’s credibility that are not mentioned in the text? Using the guidelines listed and the ones you came up with, did your source turn out to be credible? Why or why not? Please explain with references to the text.

As you have learned in the Activity “Understanding the Purpose of Sources,” assessing intentions and bias is an important step when vetting your sources for your research. Name two of the examples that the text provides of what to look for when deciding if there is bias in a source. Next, find an article on gun control in the Umass Global Virtual Library. According to the criteria for detecting bias in the Activity, do you think the article is biased? Why or why not? Please list your source in APA format.
