I Never Knew I Had a Choice, 11th Ed. Belmont; Wadsworth, 2018Philip Hwang refers to happiness as a balance between self-esteem and other-esteem.  What is this other-esteem and provide two examples of how you have demonstrated any of its descriptions.    Do you believe happiness is genetically predisposed, in our genes? In Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, he states that satisfaction of physiological and safety needs are prerequisites to actualizing one’s full potential.  Do you feel that you were adequately provided with these two critical needs?  Explain how you recall being provided these two needs.  Research has identified factors that are very important ingredients for overall happiness.  These include love, and relationship satisfaction, work, genetics, and personality.  Explain why you agree or disagree with these ingredients. What is the paradoxical theory of change, and do you agree with its definition?  Why or why not?
