The essay is 1000 words and therefore you need to be concise in your writing to convey all the important information required. Citations are essential throughout the essay, these will be from journal papers in the main and textbooks but no websites (except for images). Images are allowed but must have a figure number and be referred to in the text. Images support the text but do not replace it. Note that the titles have analyse so, using journal papers, explain how the areas of genetics (genes), anatomy and physiology have contributed to vertebrate bird flight evolution. Introduction (10 marks)Introduce the topic to the reader and clearly define the topics/ research to be used and discussed and why it is important. It should include a brief overview of the main points to be discussed in the body of the essay.
