I have been getting a few emails regarding Assignment 3. Hopefully you have checked out the Assignments tab to see the Assignment Overview attachment with all of the assignments listed, but just in case, below is the Assignment Brief.
I would encourage you to listen to the posted video in the Annoucement section of our course from our Assignment 3 virtual meeting held over a week ago.
Lesson planning is a part of your Assignment. For the 1 day program, you can give more detail. For the 1 month program, give less detail on each of the 4 sessions). As I can’t add an attachment here, I have added a free OISE lesson plan template that you can use (it is very detailed, but it is a place to start) in the Unit 10 Weekly Learning. Remember to look at Unit 5 for information on Lesson Planning (focus on the bold aspects of the list below):
Preparation
Materials and Supplies
Set up of Room
Setting the stage: Safety and Appropriate behaviour
The Hook
Examples/Learning/New Skills
Activity time
Repetition of Ideas
Display and Reflection
I hope this helps – send me any questions and good luck!
