Typically, a professional development plan focuses on the priorities or greatest needs of the leader.  The plan must be clear, manageable, and include a means of evaluation – how you will know when you have met your objective. List 3-5 specific objectives.  These may include particular skill development, re-evaluating dispositions, or attaining new knowledge, etc. Actions could include additional courses, workshops, books, working with a mentor, volunteering for leadership opportunities, or a host of other experiences.
