I need to write a long paragraph that consists of text to text, text to self, and text to world connections. I need to follow a proper paragraph format, with a topic sentence and conclusion sentence. My topic sentence needs to be very broad so that in the body of the paragraph, I can get more specific. The topic sentence needs to have a broad connection. The topic sentence connection needs to go beyond the text. In the body of the paragraph, I need to alternate between text, schema, text, schema. My connections in the body paragraph need to b very specific and meaning full.
Here is the success criteria:
– Display an understanding of the text- Connect the ideas in the text to schema- Uses specific evidence from text and schema to support connection- use details that go “beyond the surface” to create a deeper connection
