comment on your thoughts on spike lees do the right thing and how it reminds you of how the racism that still currently happens in new york still is
Below is an example of how it should be written
Spike lee outdid himself with this movie Do the right thing is so relatable in many different ways. it depicts life for immigrants and how a lot of the neighborhoods in New York City are made up. it also shows how for the most part all races stick to their own kind, but also shows how much power the community has if they all come together. after all they might be from different cultures but they are living in the same neighborhood going though the same struggles.
Radio Rahem died by the hands of the police literally in front of the entire neighborhood and because of this the entire neighborhood was brought together. everyone noticed the injustice that was caused by the police. and this is still so relevant to today. it really shows the problems in all aspects for example growing up in my neighborhood the police reputation was not one that made the neighborhood feel safe. if anything the neighborhood really looked out for each other from the police. it is crazy to think, but it makes sense why in neighborhoods like mine growing up. where a lot of us are immigrants or black felt that we had to look out for each other and even protect each other from the police, we are constantly being let down by the very same people who are meant to protect and serve people.although im glad this film was made and im sure it was not easy for spike lee to accomplish this. im sadden that the same issues shown in the movie are still so relevant and have almost no progress 32 years later.
