Small farms have all but disappeared in the U.S. and are struggling to survive in the rest of the world where most of our food is produced. There is a big differene between a farm with a herd of 12 cows and one with 50. Or a chicken farm with a flock of 20 chickens and a large one with hundreds. These are industrialized factory farms. The chickens may never see a day of real sun or touch grass. Large herds of cattle can produced greenhouse gas.
