Visit an architecturally significant work in your community. It may be a historic or contemporary building, or an urban space. The purpose of this assignment is to encourage observation and critical thought.
Write a “one-page” criticism of the building/space.
Include a photograph, drawing, or diagram for reference.
Hint – Don’t start your criticism by saying, “The building I chose to visit was…,” instead refer back to the writing styles of the critics you researched in Module 6.
This criticism should be from a current, first hand experience…..not a place you visited months ago.
