Change Leader Integrated Summary

Guidelines/Requirements:
Students will choose one person from change agents covered in the course (Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, Rosa Parks, Genghis Khan, Angela Merkel, Joyce Banda, and Bono).
The portfolio (4 to 5 pages) should summarize five (5) scholarly articles (from library resources – not Wikipedia) and three (3) cultural artifacts from primary resources (e.g. news articles, videos, speeches, photos, recordings, etc.) related to their selected change agent.Students will synthesize the literature from the five articles and provide a brief integrated summary of the articles and artifacts. (B.2. E.2. SLOs of FOK) [MLO 4] (CO 6). To synthesize means comparing and contrasting key concepts of your five articles, not just summarizing each article separately. Look for similarities and differences as you carefully read and review articles.
The summary must highlight or emphasize how the articles and cultural artifacts demonstrate the leader’s ability to influence social or cultural change. (B.2. SLO of FOK) [MLO 3] (CO 2)

Additional Guidelines/Requirements:Formatting will adhere to the standards presented in the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (Sixth Edition), which include:1-inch margins on all sides
12-point Times New Roman font
Reference list (properly formatted) indicating the source of information
In-text citations within the text
Cover page, including the title of the document and the author (your full name)
