The World Trade Organization was just a fruit of the 1947 GATT (General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade) which soon became ITO (International Trade Organization) until it reached as WTO at the year of 1995. By these days the organization became popular in the world as influential people keep in touch with them through negotiating and trading different transactions. Over years of establishment, WTO found an easy solution to track their data and further information right away by using the components of Information Technology. With just one click they access the crucial data that they need in just a few seconds. This company is so much connected with the use of software, networking, and services which are the main in demand to make the entity grow well.

Having a bunch of employees, it became difficult for them to monitor each movement and every production that arise. However, as they continue to use the modern technology that has been invented- everything became easy knowing that there are persons that were assigned to insert the data in the hardware and there’s a software who will generate the entire information so that it will not be difficult for the laborers to find the where something went wrong with what they have done. Yet for this specific organization, they gain more benefits in using the IT when they will check for their profit, communicate will their co-associate, and to observe the service of their employees.

Organization Details

WTO has many rules to maintain their productivity and to maintain the trust of their traders. Their prime stand is to get a multilateral trading system, act for negotiating trade agreements, and settle the dispute trades that may happen in a long run. The manes indicated with their organizational charts are the ones who could have a right to construct a decision or suggestion for the next step that they will take. They also have a ministerial conference every 2 years to ensure the stability of their business and lastly, they attain to become partners of estimating 20 counties.

The intention of the WTO is to open a great trade industry that will make people benefit for. Below are the purposes of this firm:

To help the producers of goods deliver their items

It always makes sure that the function of their trade is smoothly and satisfactory for their customers.

Those orders make their company’s big and productive, in addition, many individuals still inquire with them as they have good and excellent feedback came from their customers. If ever that they might not able to follow the policy, then it may somehow leave a bad impact on their reviews.

Strategies

There are different types of strategies for the competitive advantage and the succeeding are:

Cost leadership

This one is part of marketing strategy that the mission is to attain a lowest-cost producer but not to the point that the company will not produce goods anymore. It is just a way to set a lower price to compensate with the customers for having a reason that another company has the same product/service as what they are performing and offers.

Differentiation

This one refers to goods/service that is far different from their competitors. A more innovative or much quality one that will surely catch the eyes of the buyers. This type of strategy is to avoid the comparability of the two products/services that came from different firms. The main objective of this action is to increase the competitive advantage of the organization among others.

Focus

This one is like a combination of the two above strategies. It targets the market segment where the organization will conduct a cost-focus and a differentiate-focus. The total point of this strategy is to expand the relationship with their target buyers and to develop a market tactic that is much better than others.

Most appropriate strategy

Considering the selected organization, the researchers assumed that the strategy that outstands the most which will perfectly fit with the WTO is the focus strategy. Doing a cost and differentiate focus will make the company more attractive for their customers as they would be able to lower their labor cost and by making a unique style of trading.

Technology Involvement

The organization’s setup in terms of its IT infrastructure is an exhilarating one. Almost every movement of the company is based on the ability that the technology provides to them. They used hardware like desktop computers, switches, servers, facilities, and routers to properly indicate the information inside the software files and to enable the machines that they have functionate.

As they insert the important information in the desktop, they also use the software to access it and to monitor the statistical movement of it. The examples that they usually apply are the operating/content management systems, Enterprise resource planning, and web servers. Hence they also use this to communicate with their customers especially answering the queries that were held to them.

Next is telecommunication, which the one that they use to properly communicate with their customers, publicizing the new idea that they produce, and to transmitted different information with each other.

In addition, this company also performed networking as they have to gain lots of customers and to further introduce to the world the service and satisfaction that they can provide.

Lastly, the information security as per knowing that the scope of their popularity was much bigger compared then. They have to secure their personal information especially their secret portion that makes their organization reach this level.
