From Issue to Persuasion

An issue innate to the nursing career is the ethics involved in drug approval. Drug approval ethics is essential for starters since it improves healthcare quality by ensuring healthcare practitioners are professional in their conduct. Ethical behaviors in drug approval reduce public harm as misappropriation of healthcare resources may reduce the quality of treatment and public trust in healthcare systems. Thus, this calls for extreme levels of ethical conduct in practice (Cha, 2018). However, although drug approval ethics improve healthcare quality, it also slows down progress in medical research due to the tedious and lengthy ethical process involved. As highlighted by covid-19 vaccine testing drugs fastened response, ethics can be an arduous endeavor. Ethics is essential in my future career since it is the fine line that will distinguish the quality of my service in delivering care. I believe it helps sustain professional conduct and behavior within the care settings, such as collaboration and mutual respect for my profession and others.

The second issue related to nursing is cultural awareness. In the current multicultural world, understanding other cultures are essential in fostering good relations. Healthcare professionals deal with a diverse range of patients. Due to this diversity, professionals must have cultural awareness to enhance the quality of interactions. However, although cultural awareness is essential, learning about other cultures may be demanding due to inadequacies gaps between academia and practice. Cultural inclusion impacts the quality-of-care delivery as practitioners engage in learning activities. Cultural awareness will be essential in my future career in growing a culturally sensitive working environment. It will determine the quality of my interactions with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

In my final persuasive essay, I would discuss ethics. Ethical practice is paramount within the care setting. That is because ethics encompass the issue of cultural awareness. If healthcare practitioners are ethical, then they would also respect the diversities of persons they interact with. The need to be ethical will encourage healthcare professionals to attain cultural competency. Discussing the ethics issue in the care setting helps professionals gain cordial relations with patients and other caregivers. This issue will benefit professionals in the healthcare industry, family members, and policymakers who oversee determining healthcare policies. This inclusive audience is greatly impacted by the issue of ethics and the need for inclusive care settings.
