Brief reason why you are choosing this family to study: They are a very interesting family with different goals and ideals. I want to study them to analyze how they fit as a family and how they bond, considering how different they are. Amidst the comedic façade, I would love to delve in deeper and see what the family lacks and desires.

Social-Economic description of family: The Griffin family is a nuclear blue-collar family. Two of the children within the family go to high school, and the youngest child still doesn’t go to school.
Where this family lives (neighborhood, town, city, or state): The family lives at 31 Spooner Street in the town of Quahog, Rhode Island, which is a fictional place.
Religion (if known): Roman Catholic
Other important information about this family (interests, struggles, etc.): Peter Griffin likes watching TV and is a Star Strek fan. He is also a fan of KISS. Lois Griffin is an interesting character as she sometimes has questionable morals and could be emotionless or show a lack of interest at certain moments one would overreact at. On the other hand, Meg Griffin is your average high school girl. She also likes to play the saxophone and is interested in music. Chris Griffin also likes music as well as comic books and sports; most especially baseball. Second to the last, Stewie Griffin is an iconic character as he is a walking trope of evil villain baby. He is said to be interested in world domination. Lastly, the family’s dog, Brian, is interested in writing. He is an intellectual and enjoys various artforms such as opera.

Why is this a need for this family?
1. Therapy
The members of the family sometimes show alarming symptoms of depression, bipolar disorder, psychopathy, autism, etc.
2. Communication
A lot of arguments arise within the family simply because they do not communicate with each other well enough.
3. Understanding
Instances of misunderstandings are shown throughout the show, causing other members of the family to feel alone or ostracized because their feelings are not understood and recognized.
4. Organization
The family can be extremely messy and chaotic, which lead to high-stress situations where more arguments and problems can arise.
Want
Why is this a want for this family?
1. Money
Multiple members of the family want money and they all have a desire to become wealthy to have a better or superior lifestyle.
2. Mansion
The members of the family have incredibly superior desires, including wanting to live in a mansion instead of the traditional middle-class house that they own in order to make it seem like they are rich and important.
3. Fame
The Griffin Family wants fame because they believe that it will make them feel superior, as well as they deserve it because they are a family or an individual like no other. They also want the benefits that come with fame.
4. …. World Domination….
Stewie, the youngest member of the family, has emphasized time and time again that he wants world domination amidst his carefully-thought elaborate plans. The family also has some sort of a complex where they want fame, money, and world domination.
Family Strengths
Why is this a strength for this family?
1. Cooperation
Although the Griffin Family is commonly put in frustrating high-stress situations, they oddly can cooperate with each other well. This enables them to survive through countless obstacles.
2. Love
Even if the Griffin Family has a lot of arguments and misunderstandings, they still love each other. This becomes apparent in how caring they are towards each other, amidst everything.
3. Forgiveness
After every major argument, or every time a member of the family goes through a terrible experience, the Griffin Family always learns to forgive and move on. I believe this can be considered as their strength because it somehow enables them to grow.
4. Acceptance
The Griffin Family members all have their unique quirks and annoying attributes, however, the other members always learn how to tolerate each other. With this, they learn to accept and love each other for who they are at the end of the day.
