craft a policy paper that includes a thorough analysis of the issue at hand and concrete recommendations addressed to a CEO, NGO President or
Government Minister. This kind of policy document will demonstrate your ability to assess the economic and political impact of globalization
both in the current and future global world.

Assignment Description
You will prepare a Policy Paper that summarizes relevant research and provides a clear recommendation to a government, NGO, or private
sector senior official on a current debate related to global policy.

Grade: 40%
Sections:
●Purpose Statement: Introduce and state the purpose of the paper (one short paragraph).
●Background: From a domestic and international policy perspective, provide a high-level overview of the policy debate. This section
should highlight the most critical points that will be discussed further in the next section.
●Key Issues: Provide analysis and discussion of key arguments in favor of, and opposition to the issues and debate. Also, discuss other
possible approaches that a country or organization should pursue.

●Conclusion: Provide an overall recommendation to the senior official on to what degree and how should the country or organization
address the key issues (half-page).
●References: Reference at least six source documents throughout the paper, citing them as endnotes (APA format).
Format: The Policy Paper should be no more than 2,500 words (not including endnotes); 12-point Times New Roman font; 1-inch margins; and
1.15 inch-spacing. It should include clear and concise statements and include only essential information.
