Individual Reflection

Student writes their reflections (800-1000 words) on the class. Must cite at least 8 readings from the class.

Rubric:

Accuracy (Grasp of Readings): Reflection shows a firm and accurate understanding of the implications of each reading’s argument(s).

Argument (Depth of Analysis): Reflection explores the implications of the chosen ideas from the readings. Makes a convincing case for why selected key ideas connect different texts.Evidence of a personal perspective within reflection  

Clarity (Quality of Writing): Reflection shows consistently precise wording, clear and lucid sentence structure.

Presentation: Spelling and grammar. Citations

Total reflection length (without citations): should not exceed 2 pages (single-spaced; font 12; word/pdf format; any font, though I personally like Garamond). APA-style citations
