Interview Guide
Utilize Chapter 4 for a foundational guideline, it informs you of the order, beginning, middle, and end.
You are creating an Interview Guide-essentially a research paper formatted into an interview that you construct in writing. You must demonstrate that you know and can use the techniques appropriately from Chapters (1-3) combined with a chapter of your choice from chapters 9, 10, or 12) & noted in each segment. Each segment consists of a question and a response (the interviewer and interviewee) along with a corresponding technique. Imagine an interview that you have to construct in writing and all of your interview questions and answers must be from research materials from published books and periodical journals. You will have 12 segments from chapters 1, 2, & 3 combined. There are 12 table of content headline techniques identified when you add chapters 1, 2, and 3 together. Chapter 4 is a resource that provides you with the structure of an interview guide.
To help you better understand the concept, for example, look at your table of contents in your textbook, in Chapter 1, the first headline is The Essential Characteristics of Interviews; in Chapter 3, the last headline is Common Question Pitfalls.
Again, from each Headline Chapter Table of Contents section of chapters 1, 2, and 3, you should select minimally one technique (per headline). You should have at least 12 areas identified from chapters 1, 2, & 3; you are at liberty to have up to 25; this includes the next section of chapters 9, 10, or 12. No technique should be used more than once. You must have at least 3 techniques from your selected chapter of 9, 10, or 12.
When writing your segments, bullet each one (interviewer and interviewee) and attach the corresponding interview technique, chapter and page number your segment demonstrates beneath each segment by using italicized font. As always, utilize professional scholastic writing skills. (Ex: Directive Approach, Chapter 2, page 13).
Because you have completed Chapters 9, 10, and 12, your Interview Guide must be in execution of one of the chapters (9, 10, or 12). This means that your interview must be a performance, persuasive, or health care interview. Your interview guide must include at least 3 techniques from your selected specialty chapter, 9, 10, or 12. The order of your headlines can be mixed in any order of the interview guide. This should be formatted exactly as you formatted chapters 1-3.
You are free to select the subject of your interview, you must identify which interview (chapters 9, 10, or 12) you are utilizing in a small introductory summary paragraph of your interview, and this is your opening identified in the interview guide structure in Chapter 4. Remember you should also have a conclusion.
This is a research paper formatted as an interview, there must be a substantial amount of research with the APA format for references included in your scholarly writing
