Write a brief paper on the representation of “individualism” in one or two of the following texts: “Bartleby the Scrivener” by Herman Melville; “Wakefield” by Nathaniel Hawthorne; “Diving into the Wreck” by Adrienne Rich. Like any paper, your Reading Response should have a clear argument that is supported by properly integrated and analyzed textual evidence (i.e., quotations).
