Write a report on Leptis Magna. You should focus on a single structure and its analysis, while also mentioning the ancient city where it is found. Your report will contain images of the city, structure, and any art within.
Things to include
-where is the structure
-when was it built (era, if known)
-how was it used and for what purpose
-what does its use tell us about Roman culture
-is there any interesting art within the structure
-is there any interesting history around or about the structure
-if possible, include some info on the ancient city and its usage during Roman times
Report should be 5 pages maximum, including all images.
I expect 4-5 paragraphs total of analysis, and no more than that.
If your assignment is shorter but hits all of the requirements, that is fine. If your assignment is longer because of images, that is fine.

The last page of the essay should contain a bibliography of sources used
When possible, show within the report where each source was used
There is no requirement as to the number of sources, but you must use additional sources beyond Wikipedia (the library search function is your friend for this project)
-wiki entries are solely for beginning your search. If your essay is a rouge summary of wiki, it will receive a lower grade. You should locate your structure and do additional research on it beyond wiki.
-do not overly use technical specs in your analysis.
-do not overly use someone else’s analysis in your report
-put all descriptions and analysis in your own words. Plagiarism and rewording internet entries will receive a lower grade.
-do not overly use any encyclopedia source for this project, this includes Encyclopedia Britannica -the best sources will come from your library or from a website dedicated to the archaeology of the location
-if there are no sources on your structure, except encyclopedic ones, then I recommend that you cover a different structure.
