This semester Courses:
Welcome to BUS 799: Applied Learning Practicum. This course provides students enrolled in the DBA program an opportunity to apply professional applications to their respective academic coursework. The Applied Learning Practicum can be either a practicum or internship in an area directly related to the student’s course of study or a project conducted in collaboration with program faculty applying coursework to a professional setting.
Welcome to BUS 720: Business Knowledge Studies is a foundational course in the Belhaven University DBA program focusing on improving students’ knowledge, analysis, integration, and practical application of multiple disciplines. The integration and practical application of these disciplines via data analytics will result in more effective decision making in a multitude of environments that include but are not limited to our stewardship role and responsibilities as a Christian, individual, and citizen.
Welcome to BUS 771: Dissertation Proposal I. This course is the first in a series of proposal courses toward developing the dissertation and accompanying research required for completing the doctoral degree (DBA). This first proposal course examines the purpose of the proposal, Chapters 1 through 3 of the dissertation, with an emphasis on understanding the ”gap in the literature” or topic that will be the focus of your research. The course also provides a foundation for discovering the topic or “gap” of the research study. The outcome of this course will be the articulation of your Problem Statement that will guide your dissertation research.
