Assignment Description:

Today the world is facing a crisis because of human health and economic health emergency. Many businesses may not continue in the same way we have seen them before. The nature and magnitude of changes would vary from industry to industry.

The role of leadership is more critical now than ever before. Corporate leaders will have to face this challenge and provide appropriate roadmap for business recovery and expansion. Corporates will have to now prepare for a changing business paradigm. They need to review, revise and reinvent new practices that would be most appropriate for the emerging /changing times.

In this assignment you would examine and critically analyze the situation in your organization (or a chosen one). In your assignment you would address the impact of the pandemic on the organization, what actions and initiatives were taken to address the adversity, which initiatives worked, and which did not, and what are the key lessons learnt from this experience.

The following recommended questions may be used as guidelines to complete your assignment.

These are recommended questions only. You may combine some of these questions, leave some out if they are not relevant, or add other issues if appropriate.

1. What actions and initiatives did the organization take to face and overcome this challenge?

2. Do you think you have been able to successfully ride out the covid storm? why?

3. Do you now think the organization could have taken certain decisions / actions differently for better outcomes? why?

4. How supportive have your government and other agencies (say banks) been for your business in 2020 and 2021?

5. Based on available data, can you compare the performance of the organization in Q3, & Q4, of 2021 with corresponding periods in 2020 and 2019?
