Subjective questions to help in formulating differential diagnoses and plan
- Do you have a sore throat?
- Do you have pain, pressure, or tenderness behind your eyes, nose, cheeks, or forehead?
- Do you have a reduced sense of smell or taste?
- Do you experience coughs and at which time of the day are they worse?
- Do you have any headaches?
- Do you have earache or toothache?
- Have you had thick yellow or green mucus discharge from the nose?
- Have you experienced drainage of mucus in the back of your throat?
- Have you been feeling any facial pressure, mainly around the nose, forehead, and eyes?
- Have you been having bad breath?
- Have you been experiencing fatigue?
