Experiential Activity
Step 1. Form small groups of 2 students. Look at the labels on your clothing, shoes notebooks computer, calculator, phone or any other possession with you. Each student should jot down the country where the product is made for 5 products. Get together with your group and make a list of all the countries listed on your product labels. For each country, determine the minimum wage and GDP per capita. Compare this to the United States.
Step 2, Create a table like Table 14.1 below to summarize the data you gathered.
