Intervention Paper Instructions (CANVAS upload)
Each member of the class will use the “WISEWOMAN” intervention for a health promotion intervention paper. A minimum of a 3-page paper, not including references.

The following headings must be included in your paper:
Introduction, Health Issue, Target Population, Intervention, Conclusion.
A minimum of 5 scientific references are required. All references must be from peer-reviewed scientific sources. The paper should be double-spaced with one-inch margins on all sides and use a 12-point font. The paper should also be free of all grammatical and spelling errors. Follow APA format style for in-text citations and bibliography (no abstract needed).
Include a Cover page with your name, class title (Health Promotion), Instructor’s name, date, and name of intervention.

Introduction
Health Issue – what main health issue(s) does your intervention address, give facts that describe Heart Disease and Stroke
Target Population – what is the target population that the intervention tries to reach? **Older, Low SES Women** Give cited information that describes the extent of the health issue(s) within the target population.
Intervention – give background information specific to your intervention. Cite where you are getting the background information.
Conclusion – Your opinion on the effectiveness of the intervention. You must provide specific references to support your opinion, i.e. what specifically do you like/dislike about the intervention, and what improvements/modifications would you suggest
Bibliography – Present all references cited in the paper. Must adhere to APA formatting rules.
