Research Paper – Tips

Tips to follow in structuring your paper:

Clear Thesis

Has Abstract

Uses Headers

Focus on proving your thesis

Complete paragraphs

Purpose, Illustration, Explain

Do not use contractions: Don’t = do not

Do not use the words: “like” or “very”

Double space paper

1 – Inch Margins

Last Name and Page Numbers on each page

Proof read your paper

Include a Works Cited Page with Annotations

Use Chicago Turabian Format

Use 4 Scholarly Peer Reviewed Sources; your Textbook does NOT count as a source
