Understanding the power of ethics brings a level of conformity to the standards that define real-life situations in society.
Pros
Adhering to ethical standards is an important attribute of one’s personality and interaction with others.
The integration of ethics in different avenues of life makes it possible to improve the way things have to be done in the right manner.
Cons
The emphasis on ethical standards makes decision-making at times timeous.
The issue of overshadowing ethical standards with other expectations in a community makes it impossible to address the role it has to play in each context.
My Side
Ethical standards are not replaceable in any setting.
