BUS 255: Professional Planning and Practice for Internships and Careers
Self-Assessment & Career Choice Reflection Paper
Reflection Paper
GOAL:
Understanding who you are, what drives you, where your social/moral compass points and how those components help make you a valuable asset to yourself and your future employers is an important way of determining the direction you need to and/or should be taking when planning for a future career. This exercise will allow you to determine how you currently align with your chosen career path(s) and will help you learn how to either adapt your assets to meet your chosen path(s) or to adapt your path(s) to meet your assets.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Using ALL of your results from page 1, write a reflection paper explaining how your values, personality, strengths and skills are a good match or not a good match to each of the 3 careers you wrote on page 2. Equally as important, discuss how you will adjust either your career path or assets to help make yourself a better candidate. Please include page 1 and 2 when you submit the assignment on Classes. Paper should not exceed 2 pages.
