Reflection
I really enjoyed working with my team members! In my group were Mackenzie, Lauren, and Madison. They were all very sweet and a very helpful group. My main contribution to the team was taking over all email campaign concepts and templates. I would also help my team members by pitching in and working a little bit on the app and website. We all kind of helped each other out no matter what our role was because we wanted it to be great! I really like the creative aspects of this project. There are only so many ways to make an effective and aesthetic email prototype. I put a lot of creativity and work into it so I am very proud of the work and our whole team’s work. I learned about myself that I need to practice patience. It’s important to give yourself a lot of time on your work so it is not rushed.
Lauren asked to be the leader of our group. We all agreed that she would do a good job at it. We were lucky that everyone did their role and especially meeting all the deadlines. Everyone showed up at the coffee house where we worked on all the upcoming drafts. We were all accounted for by communicating with each other about what time works for everyone and setting plans in motion. As I mentioned before we had a great group. There were no conflicts and we all got along great! Our group was a very fun group yes; we got work done, but we also laughed a lot and enjoyed our time together while working on this project. In the end, we all grew closer together and became even greater friends. I personally think that our group project was very well done. I’m extremely pleased with the website, email, and App. It looks so professional, and you can tell there is so much intention behind the work as well. I was telling my family about this project and had the chance to show them all the work we accomplished, and they thought it was the real deal. Some feedback I would give for this project next time in the future is starting it earlier in the semester. It’s a lot of work researching, doing surveys, and starting a website alone from scratch. I think starting it earlier in the semester and extending due dates would make the project feel easier and not overwhelming. Overall, I have really enjoyed doing this assignment and getting to know my classmates more while doing this project. Thank you so much for the semester! I have also enjoyed getting to know you as well!
