This Project is focused on ACUTE CARE SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROGRAM
All the following qs and ppt slides should be based on acute care substance abuse program. Please follow all rules. 15-20 slides with 5 references within 5 years.
This project will help explain how health care is delivered in the United States, what costs are
involved, and how the concepts of value and quality influence health care delivery. This project
also focuses on the health system delivery issues and how one can help alleviate such perceived
problems facing our health care system.
Health Care Delivery Issues and Planning—Design your own health care system.
Drawing on all that you have learned in the course thus far, design your health care system for
the United States. Be creative! Feel free to make your system as similar to or different from the
current system as you would like. Model the system after that of another nation, if you’d like, or
design one that is completely original. Include the following elements in your design:
The role of federal, state, and local governments
The role of insurance companies
The role of employers
The role of providers
The role of consumers
How health care would be paid for
The advantage of your system over the existing one
The biggest criticism your opponents would have of your system
How you would answer this criticism
Present your health care system in a PowerPoint presentation with 15 to 20 slides, or a
multimedia presentation.

Discuss the Health System Program History and the regulatory agency that governs the system. Eligibility/Insured Benefits
Identify a Health Systems Delivery issue on your selected Program. Present a clear and concise problem statement including why systems change is needed
After analyzing the issues in health systems delivery, discuss what role the government plays in correcting the issues
Write/propose a strategic plan integrating rigorous knowledge development processes. Include supporting arguments proving your proposed plan.
