Choose any art work of your choice that you find on the internet and introduce it in the essay anadd the image in the paper as well.
In this class, we will encounter how the definition of ‘art’ has changed over time. We will see that ‘art’ is often connected to ideas of status and power. ‘Art’ is also often related to ideas of skill, excellence, creativity, uniqueness, and scarcity.
In an essay, (1.) define what ‘art’ means to you and (2.) choose an artwork that fits your definition. Describe the artwork. Who is the artist? What does it mean to you? How does it reflect your definition of ‘art’? Include an image of the artwork in your response. This should be an essay (creative title, introduction, body, conclusion, work cited).
