Personal Nutrition Plan
 
            For this project you will need to keep track of everything you consume for 5 days. It is essential that you keep a daily food log in which you record your meals, snacks and beverages. Be sure to include approximate sizes for your portions, for example, one small bag of Cheetos, turkey sandwich on two large slices of multi-grain bread with lettuce, one packet of mustard, two slices of tomato and one pre-cut slice of sharp cheddar cheese. After recording your daily intake of nutrients, including the amount, analyze your nutritional content. The goal is not to add up all of the nutritional value information from the packaging, but simply to look over what you have consumed and identify the major components of your diet. For example, is your diet high in protein and low in carbohydrates? Do you seem to consume a large amount of sodium or sugar on a daily basis?
            From this analysis of your diet, discuss the impact your food intake may have on the way your body feels. If you exercise on a regular basis, how are your body and mind impacted by the combination of food and exercise? If you did not exercise regularly, how are your body and mind impacted by your diet?
            Finally, discuss what might happen if you changed your eating habits/patterns. If, for instance, you increased your carbohydrate intake or the amount of fat in your diet, how do you think the changes would be expressed in your body?
 
Grading
This paper must be a minimum of 2 pages of analysis, plus your daily good log. .
