Across the semester we have identified how a Eurocentric ideology of modernity and its intersection with technology has created a naturalized purview of what qualifies modern architecture in the field. By choosing a case study from three different weeks, contextualize and define the following terms as well as the difference among them: Modernity, Modernism, and Modernization (450 – 500 words)
PART 2 – Compare & Contrast essay

In producing your argument consider the tension between architects embracing an International/Universal architecture vs architecture that celebrate regionalism and local identities in their projects of modernity.
