This is an in-class assignment that is to be completed in the allotted class time. You are to watch the attached video and then you are being asked to consider Community Safety from the perspective of risk and hazards. You will be asked the following questions (below) and you are to provide a detailed answer based on what you have learned so far in the Community Safety Planning course as well as conducting real-time research.
1. After watching the video, how would you craft the pre-crisis phase, initial phase, maintenance phase, crisis resolution phase and evaluation phase of your crisis communications plan? Provide examples of each (10 marks)
2. Why is re-assessment of the impact of your plan on your organization important? (5 marks)
3. A new communications plan will need to be created after this incident. Develop a SWOT for the organization involved in this incident on the video, that can be used develop the new communications plan moving forward. (10 marks)
